Stone Pendant ~ Buddha Eyes, Om Mani Padme Hum

Stone Pendant

These stone pendants were hand carved by artisans in Nepal. On one side they show the prayer mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, which is the protection prayer of Chenrezig (Tibetan) or Avalokiteshvara (Sanskrit), the embodiment of compassion. The other side of the pendant is carved with the all-seeing eyes of Buddha. The Buddha's eyes serve as a reminder of compassion towards all living creatures and vigilance in remaining on the dharma path.
