Stone Buddha ~ Charity
A very small Buddha figure hand carved from Himalayan stone by artisans in India. The Buddha's pose is called the varada mudra, which symbolises offering, giving, welcome, charity, compassion and sincerity. It is the mudra of the accomplishment of the wish to devote oneself to human salvation.
