Buddhist Gau Locket

The pictured silver gau pendant was crafted by hand in Nepal using 92.5 sterling silver and beautiful turquoise gemstone with Himalayan red coral. Gaus (or Ghaus), are 'hidden box' lockets that were traditionally worn by pilgrams and used to carry an image of Buddha, prayers, or Tibetan medicine.
